Mercury conjuncts the Sun on June 5th: a planet in the heart of the Sun can’t be seen, it’s drowned by the Sun’s light. Something is yet to come to light. Inner truth is radiant while external truths are hard to discern. Venture into your own heart to dig up a kernel of magical insight. The Gemini New Moon on June 13th carries this new insight forward. At the same time, Venus square Uranus and may carry with it a surprise or sudden change of direction and an opportunity for healing through communication. Venus will square Uranus twice more in the coming months, suggesting the story will continue to unfold. Mars stations retrograde on June 26th signalling a summer of internal work, reevaluation of will, physicality, and masculinity. How do you engage with your body? How do you speak and think about your body? How do you exert your will in the world? Contemplate aggression, anger, frustration. What does healthy masculinity mean to you? The Capricorn Full Moon on the 28th echoes the theme of masculinity even as we enter the sweet arms of mother Cancer.

Mercury (Hermes) returns from the lands beyond with a message for you, something about your home and family. Whatever insight you receive in the first half of the month will assist you in finding your way home come the mid-month Gemini New Moon. Whether you come to understand something about how your early childhood family dynamics have shaped who you are now, or you see just how to arrange the furniture in your living room, this month brings you to your hearth and the arms of your closest loves.
